Gareth is the founder of GP Maths and has over 15 years of experience supporting students through their GCSE Maths journey.

He started GP Maths after seeing how many students struggled, not because they lacked ability, but because they didn’t have the right structure or support.

Gareth focuses on giving each student a clear, step-by-step approach that builds confidence over time. His goal is to help students not only pass their exams, but feel calm, capable, and in control of their learning along the way.

I happened to mention I had got an F in Maths in 1999 and I was resigned to the fact I just wasn’t good with numbers, Gareth disagreed and suggested he could help build my confidence with number and pass my Maths GCSE exam. So, I signed up to a GCSE class with Gareth. I began studying every Tuesday and the fears from high school Maths came flooding back, Gareth was nurturing and kind with around my fears and I made it to the end. The exam came and results day arrived, I achieved a C, I was left feeling very proud of myself!
